May 2, 2012 – President John E. Klein announces his intention to retire at the end of the 2012-2013 academic year.

May 7, 2012 – Chair of the Board of Trustees Lucy W. Hooper ’73 announces that Tom Faulders, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, will serve as chair of the Presidential Search Committee.

May 17, 2012 – Lucy W. Hooper ’73, Chair of the Board of Trustees, announces the composition of the Presidential Search Committee.

August 1, 2012 – Presidential Search Committee announces selection of Dr. Katherine Haley of Witt/Kieffer to serve as search consultant.

August 6, 2012 – Tom Faulders, chair of the Presidential Search Committee, invites the Randolph community to provide input during open forums with the search consultant.

August 15, 2012 – Open Forums held.

August 27, 2012 – Tom Faulders, chair of the Presidential Search Committee, provides update on the search process and invites community to provide input to the position- specification draft.

September 4-15 – Presidential Search Committee receives feedback on the position specification draft

September 11, 2012 – The College launches the Presidential Search website.

September 28, 2012 – Tom Faulders, chair of the Presidential Search Committee, announces position specifications and the official call for nominations.

January 2, 2013Search Committee reviews applications and selects semi-finalists.
